PT&T executed an agreement with Bitstar as its partner reseller in NCR.

Bitstar will sell enterprise broadband products in NCR and will not compete with PT&T who will focus on providing network services and bandwidth to resellers such as Bitstar instead. Bitstar will service these clients directly while PT&T will engage wholesale clients only.

KP or Republic Act No. 12234 (Konektadong Pinoy Act) became law in 24 August 2025. It is an open access policy which provides accessible and competitive environment to all qualified participants in all segments of data transmission network and encouraging investments in the digital infrastructure for the development of reliable and affordable data transmission networks. It promotes data transmission infrastructure sharing and co-location to eliminate the uneconomic duplication of these facilities in the data transmission sector.

Konektadong Pinoy allows us Bitstar to set-up shop whereas before you would need a franchise to sell internet to customers. It allows Bitstar to leverage on the network assets of other ISPs so that it can enter new markets without spending CapEx end-to-end.
